Hey! My name is Anita, I'm a Brazilian, Toronto based 17 year old emerging artist. I work on film projects & do professional photography. I'm on the track to go into University to study Film Production.

I moved from Brazil in the middle of the pandemic when I was 13. I've loved all kinds of art for as long as I can remember. I like to think of myself as a big extrovert—I run over three clubs at my school and am working towards a special diploma, majoring in drama at my arts high school. I'm also part of the TIFF Next Wave Committee, where I, along with 11 other high school students, help choose the films for the festival and even run our own! Several of my own films have been featured in festivals too, which is exciting. I also work for Film Girl Magazine as a photographer. Overall, I'm just someone who loves making things, and this is the space where I get to share it all! Oh, and I recently posted my first feature film on YouTube, which you can find linked in this portfolio—it’s been such an amazing experience!
